Hi, I think, o I have read in some place, that a database management, works very well (it's designed for it) inserting registers in the tables, or modifying registers, or selecting registers, ... but always with registers. Another operations, as modifying tables are available, but it's better do it only one time, and not touch the design of the table. I comment it, because someone have propose me, a way to implement a program with a database and one goal of the database is instead of inserting registers, is to add fields in a table. I ask if this methodology of work, is correct or not. I don't have sufficient knowledge to evaluate it, but I think that no, that it's bad way. However, I would like to explain it very well, but I don't know how to do it. Can anyone help me? Thanks a lot. Leo -- Leopold Palomo Avellaneda Linux User 152692 Catalonia
