Acrobat has a "thing" about 24 bit X. If you are using this resolution, change to 16 bit or possibly 32bit (some displays map 32 bit to 24 bit which doesnt help). Or better yet, avaoid the problem and use xpdf which is both more stable, prints on my system which acrobat doesnt, and avoids the display problems which can vary. see the docs about options such as password support.
