Hi, I am adminstering a small network that has Linux and Solaris Sparc as well as Win9x and Win2k boxes. We have one SCSI tape drive (Exabyte 8mm) attached to a Sparc station running Solaris7. Does anyone have a clue how to set up Linux to use the tape drive through the network as if it were local? I have been doing backups of the Win and Linux boxes from the Sparc using smbtar, but what I need to do also is read data tapes on Linux as if it were a local tape drive. Thanks, John Craig
