Um...I think it's a little more complex than that (unless something changed in 7.2's kernel-source rpm) What I did was download the kernel srpm grab the config files out of that (forget where they are) copy the kernel config file of your choice to /usr/src/linux/arch/i386/defconfig make oldconfig Make xconfig (or menuconfig or config) to make any changes you like then go from there (note, I didn't include all the make clean make mr proper stuff) Andrew On Mon, 20 Nov 2000 18:31, you wrote: > > Ok here's how it works.
