I dug a little deeper and for some reason whe it gets to APM it hangs, I thought it was a network issue but it doesn't appear that way. I don't know why every time I install apparently 'smoothly', it hangs on reboot at the apm stage. It makes a few clicking noises then freezes. Has anyone ever seen this before? Again, it's an IBM Thinkpad 600x laptop. -----Original Message----- From: Dave [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Thursday, November 23, 2000 2:26 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: [expert] Laptop config issues 7.2 installed beautifully on my ThinkPad i1400. By PCMCIA drivers, are you referring to a specific PCMCIA card? I use a 3Com 375BT CardBus network card, and it was recognized by the installer and works exactly as it should. I run DHCP in my office, and have no network (yet) at home. Dave At 10:12 AM 11/23/00 -0500, you wrote: >Hello, > >I am trying to install Mandrake 7.2 on an IBM 600x Thinkpad.
