It appears that konqueror's problem on that page is with the JavaScript window.open() method, which opens a popup window for the user to enter their information. I tried a simpler page with just the window.open() command, and it did not work. Mozilla can open the window, however. But you already pointed out that Mozilla dies before it ever sees the page with the window.open() method. Mozilla is dying because of the https:// protocol -- you need to download the Personal Security Manager (which is what allows SSL connections for secure http) for Mozilla separately. I don't have it installed, so it died for me as well. But this is the problem, I am sure of it.
