ello folks;
I must install a new CDRW Sony CR-X140E in the computer of a friend of
mine.
After install y think that I will need to do the next step:
a) in /boot/grub/menu.lst ad hdc=ide-scsi (is an slave of the cdrom1)
b) In /etc/fstab ad:
/mnt/cdrom2 /mnt/cdrom2 supermount fs=iso9660,dev=/dev/cdrom2 0 0
c) In modules.conf add:
alias scsi-hostadapter ide-scsi
d) Do the next link:
ln -s /dev/scd0 /dev/cdrom2
It all these right?
Do I need also to add at the end of /etc/rc.d/rc.local
modprobe sg
/sbin/modprobe ide-scsi?
Are there other things that I should do?
Thanks a lot for your attention, yours sincerely
