A large partition can take a long time to fschk at mount time if
requested to do so in the /etc/fstab line.

Remove the flag (0 0) if you do not want the partition checked at
mount time - see man fstab.

There is little point using fstab to auto-mount partitions at boot
time - it takes time and lengthens the slocate updatedb time
inordinately.

Generally, it is better to use kdf's lovely visual display to mount
and unmount and get File Manager windows dynamically by mouse click
as needed.
