I've found both Blackbox & IceWM to be lean & fast for this. Games I can't play on KDE or Gnome work fine there. 2) I configured for XFree86 3.xx with hardware acceleration. Apparantly no hardware acceleration for my graphics card in XFree86 4.xx. Switching to 3.xx enabled the games again. Hope that helps! __________________________________________________________ Ric Tibbetts Boeing Shared Services Group UNIX System Administration Seattle Server Operations __________________________________________________________
