[expert] iso images

Hi all just about to upgrade to MD 8.0 so I downloaded the iso images , both 
from one of the mirrors , burnt them on to cd's , BUT there's no directory 
structure on either file ???
Might sound a silly question but is there something has to be done to the 
files to make them useable.
