[expert] iso images

Hi all, put a request in a few days ago and did get a reply,
but to be honest after looking for ages for "un-iso",
and finding zilch , I think the wee beasty to use for building the file system from an 
iso image is mkisofs.
Can some ne help with the syntax for extracting the file system to extract ready to 
load onto a cd..

bit like sex really unless you get pointed in the right direction the first time , you 
can end up in a mess
