Debugging WINE is beyond my level of expertise. Those error message windows 
that pop up also generate a log file, I think. You may be able to glean some 
info from them.

However, just boot to Windows and install Word from there. It should be able 
to run in WINE once you are back in Linux.

If you want to experiment, use winesetup to use "fake" windows and then try 
to install Office again.
