I did by the PowerPack, as I use ViaVoice a lot..

Yah, Brian, I think you and Tom are right on this... a major hassle, but
it is probably the best way to go, fresh.  I remember trying to upgrade
from 7.0 to 7.1 ... had major problems and had to do a fresh install
anyway...
