Thanks to all,
I think that my next mandrake installation will be in ext3.
I'm running ReiserFS and I have a problem with it (I believe):
When I try to uninstall windows fonts with drakfont, the computer fails and I
must reboot.
Then, I rename the /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/drakfont to "trash", create a new
drakfont directory and run mkfontdir. The uninstall is complete :-)
But when I try to delete the "trash" directory, the computer hangs.
I have observed that the problem is with one concrete file. When I try to
delete it, the kernel hangs.
May be ReiserFS is corrupted. How can I run a complete fsck? (I have observed
the fsck don't run at boottime, and if I try to run reiserfsck it says that
the filesystem must be mounted as read-only.
thanks.
Salu2,
scar.
