Hmmm, did you ever have LMDK8.0 running while using the KT133 chipset on
your ABIT M/B? The ABIT M/B most likely uses the 686B South Bridge chip,
and I could never get Mandrake to work unless the kernal version was at
least 2.4.7 or above. Even now, with 8.1 beta3, kernel 2.4.8-18, I am
having a bear of a time (just look at what OS I am using now). Some
boards with 686B will run Mandrake, and some will not, like the Tyan I
am using. Not sure if this is happening to you but I thought I better
share this info....
