Au contrair, Linux can be susceptible to this, if you are running Samba
with guest-accessible shares. Nimba will try to exploit any SMB network
shares, and create a *.eml file in every directory it can access. I know
someone that this has happened to. The damage wasn't great, but he had
to write a script to search out *.eml files in his entire directory tree
and delete them.

BTW, apparently *.eml files are automatically executed by all versions
of MSIE prior to version 6. I don't know if anyone has analyzed the
*.eml files to see if they are obnoxious code, but I wouldn't be
surprised if this were the case.
