No, I have usb-ohci and usbcore loaded. usb-uhci fails to load with dependency errors. > So do I. Actually it mounts as /dev/cdrom2 but that is symlinked to scd0. > There are 2048 device files in my /dev that match sd* - and one of them is > sda1. > I have modules ide-scsi, sd_mod and scsi_mod loaded. If I boot with devfs loaded, I have no /dev/sd* devices; if I boot with devfs=nomount option, I get all the sd* devices, but attempts to mount /mnt/camera to /dev/sda1 did not work. I finally went to /lib/modules/kernel*/..., found the modules for usb and scsi devices, and started modprobing anything that looked like it might work. I ended up with errors to the effect the kernel didn't know how to mount a device with a "fat" partition. Maybe I was on the right track, but I had to move on to other things. > > > Me too - minus the camera! It hasn't worked through all the 2.4.x kernels, though. When I get the time, I'll recompile the kernel/modules for FAT support and try again.
