In theory, I agree with you, however in this particular case it seems that the theory does not pan out. Since I originally started this thread, I will tell you the solution someone else gave me: 1. Get the Mozilla RPM for RedHat 7.x and install/upgrade it. 2. I got a conflict with some library which I don't remember, but I forced the install anyway with --force. 3. Get the Galeon RPM for RedHat 7.x and install/upgrade it. 4. Enjoy! These versions were compiled for libpng2, and so they work fine. Dave -- I wonder if I should put myself in ESCROW!!
