I can see I was not clear.
Here's what I *should* have said:
I tried (again, just in case my memory was incorrect) saying
linux noauto
and it still dies at the same place.
Anybody have any ideas? (Civileme - I'm willing to make a special CD if
that's what it takes to figure this out...)
