Ditto about missing the beginning... I have a 435CDS that has the same problem with 8.0. Very disappointing... 7.2 works fine though... Maybe an issue with the 2.4 kernel? I've had the same problem with other distros using the 2.4...

However, I've managed to install Mandrake before on machines with even less memory, so I'm not really sure what's going on. If you do figure this out, I would love to know what it takes to get Mandrake running on this machine.
