HTH It's a real SCSI device; you do *not* need ide-scsi to make it work. I have a SCSI Plextor CD-RW, and I do not load ide-scsi, and it works just fine. Ide-scsi is only for IDE drives that you want emulated as SCSI; this is not an IDE drive.
