Not only is a wheel mouse a great convenience (especially when scrolling
through great long bottom-posted e-mails :^) ), I have found that it
reduces the pain from tendons inflamed by too many years of doing this kind
of stuff and a ton of pencil pushing. By alternating between the wheel,
scroll bars and cursor keys during my computer sessions, I take a lot less
ibuprofen. Beer consumption, however, remains essentially constant.
