I got the kernel-2.4.17-8-1-1mdk.rpm from cooker : <ftp://ftp.club-internet.fr/pub/unix/linux/distributions/Mandrake-devel/cooker/cooker/Mandrake/RPMS/>
And thanks to a lot of help which came down to a very simple two line suggestion I Install them into 8.0 and they work just dandy. Don't know about 8.1 have never been able to get it to work passably. Mike McNeese
