huh?

I had supermount working flawlessly with kernel 2.4.11-6 so if supermount
doesn't work with 2.4.17-X then its because they broke it again..

my biggest complaint with the newest kernels is the new method of packaging
the headers, I prefered them as a headers rpm.. having to upgrade glibc is a
pain in the ass for a kernel upgrade.. (unless I am mistaken here.) for one
thing, the glibc packages are huge anyway... and the whole thing is far less
intuitative then the old matched versions of kernel and header.

Well...I've got an old test machine that I'm going to try out the cooker
kernel on to see if Supermount is indeed working again. not that I can't get
along without it mind you... I just like tinkering.
