[expert] Problem with update mandrake

I upgrade mandrake with the utility to update. and update the kernel to 
2.3.8-34.1mdk, and now nothing work. how can i fix this problem. becouse not 
have eth0 nothing. To start the system i use a diskette with the kernel.

Somebody may help me.
