There were some comments about Tyan boards a little while back either
here or on newbie.  You may like to check the archives for those.  Seem
to remember some problems, but at the same time the board was highly
rated for performance.  That would have been pre-8.2 though, so any
config issues may have been addressed with the newer kernel.

The only other comment I would offer is that if you are going to put all
that power in a box, use 512 MB of RAM to let it really fly!
