That brings me to another question....

Are there perl 5.6.1 rpms for mdk9???

5.8 has some issues, particularly in the fact that it breaks some apps like
SpamAssasin...

I setup amavis-new and SpamAssasin on my mail servers, and they have issues
if perl is 5.8.

I know I could install from tarball, but I like having it all in the RPM
database... (including as many of the modules I need as possible.)

Is there any reason to think the 8.2 perl rpms wouldn't work??

what would break if I swapped to 5.6.1 in mdk9???

any thoughts guys??

From what I've heard, a lot (most) of the 3rd party modules for Apache
haven't been ported to 2.0 yet. That means it's probably not a good
idea to make it the default just yet.
