All of which had the two old versions of gcc (2.91, called egcs) and
2.95 along with the standard 2.96 and 3.x that was current at the time.

[root@fiji ~]# urpmf g\\+\\+-2
gcc2.96-colorgcc:/usr/bin/colorg++-2.96
gcc2.96-c++:/usr/bin/g++-2.96
gcc2.96-c++:/usr/bin/i586-mandrake-linux-gnu-g++-2.96
gcc2.96-c++:/usr/share/man/man1/g++-2.96.1.bz2

It's not there any more. Ask the vendor to recompile it using 2.96 or
grab the older 2.95 stuff from 8.2 CD's.

Blue skies...                   Todd
