Win works it in this box Do not use either ide=floppy or ide=scsi. If this is a clean install of 9.0, not an upgrade, edit your /etc/fstab. Remove the existing entry, if any, for your zip and replace it with this: /dev/sda4 /mnt/zip auto user 0 0 Use mount -a or reboot your system. Put a disk in the drive, issue mount /mnt/zip and you should be able to access it.
