I am surprised that mandrake doesn't make it a default as it did postfix (orYup... it's a licensing issue. Of course, one can easily install djbsupport from contribs and do a simple "urpmi djbdns-extcache" (replace djbdns-extcache with the package you're interested in... there are three: local cache, external cache, and DNS server).

I've never heard anyone say bind was better then djbdns.
