Umm... a little detail you neglected to mention before. Everyone made the assumption that /var was the only partition under /var, since /var/spool is unusual to use. Next time, hopefully someone will post their "df -k" output, which would have (in this case) quickly been made obvious ;) Thanks... Dan.
