Hmmm. In that case - I bet you're network connection is operating at 10MBits. MAke sure your connection, making an FTP-Transfer of a big file b.e., runs faster. I'm getting over here - with much slower machines but loads of Ram - a little less than 11MBytes/s Transfers. That's what is required.
