I can ping the address and get a return, though.
I am not (yet) running any external services so there is no website. I own the domain ravenhome.net (dydns) and have several registered hostnames as well. I am thus far only using the name to permit me a unique host+domain name for my mailserver. When/if I ever manage to get a broadband connection, I'll consider the other stuff. In any case, I didn't realise the change in postfix occured between 8.2 and 9.0. All is fine now that I edited the jailed resolv.conf. That is a rather kludgy security fix. I don't like redundancies as a rule as they are wasteful and inelegant. I hope this can be addressed in a future postfix iteration. praedor -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.7 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE+MrD+wDUPEkSvRHERAscuAJ9Ggb36MGtNNbcPK6zoChOpxDRY3wCgwFrc qJpJX9YN4jUgNwqaHvhQAHs= =YrUR -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
