Steffen,

I thought I would clarify this a bit further...

The FQDN of one MDK workstation is 'pmbent2.bucalo', with an alias of
'pmbent2'. The other's is 'pmbent3.bucalo' and 'pmbent3', respectively. As
well, I have noted that 'bucalo' is the domain name in netconf for both PCs,
and in my authentication files looked at when when first mounting the shares
locally.

I realized after I sent my reply out that I didn't really address this
completely
