So I wasn't to wrong ;)
Have you tried to give guests write-access then and looked if this solves the 
problem ? Hmmm I know I would try to catch the problem with a bit trial and 
error ;) As I said I'm not a real guro in that, as I have exactly one machine 
here currently and no windows at all (I crashed my XP a while a go and have 
to reformat it, not sure if i will install it again)
