Damian, by all means butt away! <grin>
Seriously though, I've not tried disabling DMA. I've always used DMA with
previous versions of Mandrake on this same hardware with no problems.
Might give that a shot just to see what happens. The question arises though,
won't performance suffer with DMA off?
