Yes ! Some cheap drives will work okay and some are complete garbage and will barely work at all after extensive tweaking.

You will need a drive that works, ide-scsi emulation turned on at boot time, and a little patience to read a couple docs and set things up with whichever software front end you use. I have installed a half dozen or so Yamaha's with excellent results. You will pay $$$ for them though. I helped out a friend that had gotten a Que brand and it was a piece of crap. I finally got it working, after a couple days worth of effort, and then it only works sort-of. I know some people on this list have found less expensive brands that seemed to work well. - -- KevinO "If truth is beauty, how come no one has their hair done in the library?" - -- Lily Tomlin -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.7 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQE/BxIgWOfRC7Rnmv8RAuv1AJ9knteTNnty1Yhnx8RwqeFumWQk6gCeJ3z1 87je7Gv0ul4zEnTY05o3Uww= =MVia -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
