I have Win2k, using both fat and ntfs partitions, on my system - of which the main OS is mdk9.1.
It seems to me that I should be able to get a perfectly valid, complete and fully restorable backup of my windows environment simply by using dd or tar from linux.
Has anyone had any experience doing this? Is the state of the NTFS driver up to it? Is there anything I am missing with this scenario?
