yes, but...

of which how much changes daily? Maybe two kilobytes? Sure the resources
are there to waste, but getting in the habit of using rsync doesn't hurt
either.

Also google for rsync and hard links -- there's some neat scripts for
creating backup version trees that only use space for changed files.
