I know this is *possible*, and I've read several HOWTOs on the net. I'm just curious whether anybody on this list has experimented with the various options out there, and which worked better than others.
At the moment I just have a CD-burner so will be making VCDs; in the near future I will also have a DVD-burner, so would appreciate help on that also. Also, what should I look out for when purchasing my DVD-burner? Which play better with Linux? Finally, given that I have european family who don't "get" region encoding and send us DVDs as xmas gifts, do I want to look at decss, or other?
