Well, feedback is what we need! We have had very little, so i'm glad you're giving it. > For instance, I think it would be much easier to use if I could > get anywhere I needed to go in the site from the home page without > having to read more than 1 paragraph or scroll down in my browser. > A lot of the text explaining what > the Twiki is and its rules of operation would, IMO, be better on a > secondary page that links from the main site. In fact, i myself have a link to index in my browser, as opposed to home. It was decided before to make WebHome mainly for new users and reference when needed, expecting that seasoned users would go directly to WebIndex. I agree that WebHome could be more concise. Actually, it is on the "To Do" list, which at the moment isn't all that easy to find: http://mandrake.vmlinuz.ca/bin/view/Main/IndexDiscussion Also, i do agree that WebIndex should be very easy and early to find. > This is just my two cents. Yeah, that's cool. The problem with putting the index on the first page is that it is big, and other info would be swamped. How about trimming the home page a little (mking links to "what is twiki"), and making sure the link to index is easy to find? If other members of the expert list don't like us discussing this here, we can move it to: http://mandrake.vmlinuz.ca/bin/view/Main/IndexDiscussion eric -- Mandrake HowTo's & More: http://twiki.mdklinuxfaq.org
