This is old news. That change has been discussed to death on almost
all RH related mailing lists for the past months... :-}

I think it's a valid move for them, as they've built up a good
reputation with business, so they want to strengthen their brand in
that market. Personally (as a long time RH user), I think it's a pity
they're moving away from the "original crowd", which included many
home users like me. Hence, for me this change was the main reason to take
a look at Mandrake, though I will give Fedora a try as well (having
more than one computer is fun... ;-) ). On the other hand, I've
already heard from many other SOHO users that they will move to "Red
Hat Personal Workstation", which is the "smallest" of their new
offerings and clocks in at about $100 (including support). That's far
too much for what I have in mind, though, and I don't need the
support. Anyway, I wish good luck to them and I'm curious how Fedora
will develop. After all, choice is good! :-)
