A little birdie on the inside has told me that Goodyear has stopped production of 10" tires. This was discussed at the FSAE event this weekend in Michigan. They used up the full stock of tires and some teams then had to go to Hoosier. The Goodyear people suggested that teams plan on construction with 13" wheels instead. Since the diameter between 13 and 10" tires is limited, they expect little transition problems for most teams.
Now how long will Hoosier hold out? I suspect few problems since they are the dominent player in the itsy bitsy tire size market. jim _______________________________________________ F500 mailing list - [email protected] To unsubscribe or change options please visit: http://f500.org/mailman/listinfo/f500 *** Please, DO NOT send unsubscribe requests to the mailing list! ***
