You're right .. you don't know anything about solo. ;-) no offense intended
People in solo can find a "low grip" surface almost anywhere. nationals has been on concrete almost since it's inception and the grip levels have been high and the courses fast and long. All we have in solo is corners (you should hear some people bitch when we we even have a 5 second straightaway in these courses) so grip level is everything.
In addition our F500 cars are very "finicky" about grip. No grip and you're looking at push which is no fun.
