I can add a bit of info about the Mk7 and Mk8.
I have one of the last Mk7's (#26) and it was homologated 4/95.
I also have the a Mk8 (#1) and it was homologated 12/95.
I've seen many Mk7's and there are slight variations in all that I've seen. Most of the variations seem to be in the rear suspension (track locator types), jackshafts, and also the width of the driver's seating area. I remember Mike Keirns telling me that my Mk7 was a "wide-body" version. (It didn't fit my wide body very well until I recently had the side bars cut out...this is an autocross only car).

A MK 6 was KBS's only (known) foray into DSR. I am aware of no MK 9's.

I'll take a crack at the MK years:

1990-1992 - Mk 5
1993-1995 - Mk 7
1996-2000 - Mk 8

Mk 8.5 was an update.

Adjustments anyone?

Can someone set me straight on the KBS MK thing. I see reference to MK7 and MK8 without any reference to the year it was manufactured. Are there MK 6's
and MK 9's ?

Were the MK 7's and 8's manufactured over several years ?

and if so is one MK 7 different from the next ?

Richard
