Marshall, Good point, but the relatively low speeds these guys
(legend/dwarf) attain keep them pretty safe,however I can imagine the
comfort level would be a lot less if they turned speeds reached at road
courses!

Safety.

Right before I bought my first open-wheeler, I was watching one of the
local
Charlotte Legends events on cable - I was considering my options, and
Legends looked pretty good.  That night, one of the drivers had a fairly
minor
collision that ended up burning the car down.  He barely managed to  get
himself
out of the car, and was severely burned - he was fully engulfed in  flames,
and
was well and truly on fire when he finally go out.  When my  wife and I saw
that, Legends became a non-starter.
