I also had some issues with cracked frame tubes on my Red Devil until I added some diagonal bracing in the engine area. I took a good look at the way the engine was being supported and found that there was a gap in the frame without support, so the engine was only supported by the bottom two frame rails. Added two (one on each side) tubes to tie the top frame tubes to the bottom and did not have any frame cracks in over three years.
