well i suggest you actually look at an sae car before you even think about something like that, they are made for one day use and it shows on a lot of them ,the thought of going more than 60 in one is just plain scary, and i have attended many of the sae contests here in pontiac michigan i have seen em all, there aren't many that would even finish! that is definately not an option for f500

Why are you all forgetting there are 4stroke snowmobile engines which is the only future for F500 ten years down the road when no snowmobile company will be making two strokes. If you lived in Rhode Island near Narragansett Bay and see a jetski that is a four stroke they are now so quiet and no oil in the water. And for those of you who don't know it, they are almost the same engines as snowmobile except they are for water! I am older and maybe getting out of this in the near future, but if I was in my forties I would be thinking 4stroke CVT Snowmobile Engines.

Also if I wanted a bike engine I would somehow find the money to go DSR or find a school in the USA that would sell me a SAE (?) car!

Good job chuck, I couldn't have put it better my self. getting more riders/ drivers is not going to happen by changing our cars. but by getting out into places that have not seen or driven our cars. Doing things like beating FF will get us noticed. (did brian have his engine backwards) Rory
