Don't know about the whole Gojo thing, but I definitely keep mine wrapped. If I have good slicks that aren't going to be used for a while, I'll let the air out and wrap them too. Also put them in dark garbage bags and put them in the house for the winter. If you have a basement closet or something that's best. You want them out of the changing temperature, warm enough to not freeze, and out of the sunlight. All of these things will have definite effects on tires.
If you keep them stored properly and wrapped / bagged, the rubber will stay good for quite a while.
