Phil,

I certainly go along with keeping your tires inside the house during those
cold northern winters, but what does the  "wrapping"  do ?   And what do you
wrap them with ?

I am not a chemist, but I would guess that there is some reaction between
the rubber and the oxygen and ozone in the air, but that would require a
air-tight bag that has all the air sucked out of it.  Wrapping doesn't sound
air-tight.
